David Wilson Anglin

David Wilson Anglin was born in Corinth, MS, on December 3, 1968, the son of Patricia S. Roe and Roy Wilson Anglin, who preceded him in death in 1991. He was united in marriage to Tonia Blackwelder of Adamsville, TN, formerly of Savannah, TN, on May 3, 2014. He departed this life at his home in Adamsville, TN, on February 12, 2015, at the age of 46 years, 2 months, and 9 days. He grew to adulthood in Savannah, Tennessee, then spent several years living in Dyer, TN. He returned to Savannah and began his life of working on the river, a job he loved. At the time of his death, he was working for Inland Marine Service.
David loved sports, especially football, and was an avid Steelers and Vols fan. Another passion was music, almost any kind of music. He loved his friends, and he leaves behind many whose company he enjoyed. Besides his beloved wife, Tonia, he leaves his mother, Patricia Roe of Savannah, his sister, Tracy Morris of Savannah, one nephew, Matthew Morris, of Nashville, his step-siblings, Ellen Petrie (Ron) of Union City, TN, Mary Ann Avery (Ken) of Dickson, TN, Vance Roe (Linda) of Arlington, TN, and Thom Roe of Jackson, TN. He also leaves ten nieces and nephews and one great-nephew from his Roe family. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Dr. Tom Roe, his grandparents, Beatrice and Billy McFall, Lela Belle Anglin, and his grandfather, Woodrow Anglin, who died before David could know him.
The family suggests that memorials be sent to St. Jude Hospital, First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and/or the Cumberland Child Development Center of Savannah, or a charity of your choice.
