Mr. Darrell J. Roberts of Bolivar departed this life at the age of 51 years Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Roberts was born in Memphis February 25, 1961 to Jerome and Darnell Roberts of Bolivar, who survive, and moved to Bolivar with his family at age 11. On December 10, 1985 he was united in marriage to Deborah Fish, who also survives. He worked in roofing and flooring, sawmilling with Wayne Vandiver and Kenny Cornelius, and was a sub-contractor for Quality Carpets. He loved to hunt, fish, and draw and enjoyed woodworking and working out. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by three sons, Lynn Howell, Jason Howell and wife Patricia, and Darrel Roberts II, all of Bolivar; two sisters, Linda Burnette and Diana Galloway, both of Bolivar; and five grandchildren, Katrina Tull, Joshua Olson, Jonathan Howell, Layla Howell and Darrell "J. T." Roberts III.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Roberts.
