Daphne Grooms Taylor



was born in Henderson County, Tennessee on November 24, 1962 the daughter of Bobby R. Grooms and Kay Robertson Rainey.



On May 28, 2000 she was united in marriage to Ricky Taylor, who survives. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and lived all of her life in Hardin County.



She departed this life on October 6, 2006 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 43 years, 10 months and 12 days.



Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband, Ricky Taylor of Saltillo, Tennessee;

3 daughters: Winona Briley and her husband, Brannam of Morris Chapel, Tennessee,

Rosanna Simpson and Samantha Simpson, both of Saltillo, Tennessee;

one grandchild, Sidney Briley; her mother, Kay Rainey and step-father, Allen Rainey, both of Osceola, Arkansas; her father, Bobby Grooms and step-mother, Judy Grooms, both of Saltillo, Tennessee; 2 sisters: Lisa Jennings of Parsons, Tennessee and

Karla Bunney of Humboldt, Tennessee; 2 brothers: Dennis Kelly of Saltillo, Tennessee and Greg Rainey of Parsons, Tennessee; and her maternal grandparents, Bobby and Roberta Robertson of Sardis, Tennessee.
