Danny Carlton Russom born March 22, 1943 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Rayford and Bulah Ingle Russom. Mr. Russom departed this life on November 22, 2022 in Corinth, MS at the age of 79 years and 8 months.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patsy Allen Russom on May 20, 1979. Later, he was united in marriage to JoAnn McClain. They have celebrated 42 years of marriage.
Danny was employed at Wurlitzer, GE, and later retired from Caterpillar. He enjoyed his favorite hobby of woodworking which included swings and adirondack chairs.
Mr. Russom is survived by his wife, JoAnn Russom of Selmer, TN; daughter, Tina Parson and husband Grant of Michie, TN; three granddaughters, Kara-Lea Fowler of Selmer, Mackenzie and Marli Parson of Michie; first great grand daughter due in Apirl, Adeline Marie Boyer; two special brothers-in-law, John Jordan and Gordon Michaels.
In addition to his first wife and parents, Mr. Russom is preceded in death by a daughter, Lorie Russom Fowler; brother, Wayburn Russom; sisters, Minnie Michaels, Eddie Lou Goodrum, Jane Hornbuckle, Martha Green, Betty Smith and Carolyn Jordan.
