Danny Jay Rich, Sr.

Danny Jay Rich, Sr., age 55, of Little Fish Trap Road, Lawrenceburg, TN, lost his battle with cancer at his home on Thursday, May 3, 2007.
Services will be Sunday, May 6, 2007 at 1:30 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, TN with John Blackwell officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Cemetery, Cypress Inn, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Saturday, May 5, 2007 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Sunday, May 6, 2007 from 11 am until service time at the funeral home.
A native of Highland Park, MI, he had lived in Ypsilanti, MI before moving to Wayne County, TN, had worked as a press operator with Chevy Spring and Bumper in Livonia, MI, was a member of UAW local #262, and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Danny was a grandson of the late Lewis and Virgie Rich and Charlotte Katzin.
Survivors, wife, Brenda S. Phillips Rich, Lawrenceburg, TN; son, Danny J. Rich, Jr. and wife, Sandra, Waynesboro, TN; daughter, Tanya S. Rich, Lawrenceburg, TN; grandchildren, Alyssa Rich, Whitney Rich, Danny J. Rich, III, Brittany Juarez, Destiny Juarez; father and stepmother, Russell and Loretta Rich, Collinwood, TN; mother, Virginia Tyler, Ypsilanti, MI; brothers, Russell Rich and wife, Kathi, and Jim Rich and wife, Elaine, all of Waynesboro, TN, Ronnie Rich and wife, Jackie, Redlands, CA; sister, Charlene Kovacs and husband, Jess, Whitmore Lake, MI; several nieces and nephews.
Danny loved his family, his pets, and nature.
