DANNY MITCHELL
Pinson, TN: Danny Keith Mitchell, age 64, passed away on July 12, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in Henderson, TN the son of the late William Edgar and Dorothy Johnson Mitchell on January 9, 1958. A 1976 graduate of Chester County High School, he continued his education at Jackson State Community College, American Honda in Memphis and U.S. Suzuki in Dallas, TX.
He was united in marriage to Kimberly Burress on July 25, 1980. They most recently made their home in Pinson, TN. He was Baptist in belief.
He mastered many skills: construction, electrical, plumbing, mechanics, and industrial tool and die design. Some of his favorite activities included motorcycles and coaching many of his son’s youth baseball teams. He was the ultimate provider and protector of his family.
In addition to his wife, Kim Mitchell, he is survived by a son, Chad (Maria) Mitchell of Knoxville, TN. He is also survived by five sisters, Karen (Mike) Bishop, Carolyn (Johnny) Garner, Patty (Joe David) O’Neal, Melinda (Garry) Carroll and Melodie Mitchell all of Henderson.
To honor his request, there will be no public visitation or service. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery.
