Danny Griffin

Danny Griffin was born April 21, 1953 in Clarksdale, Mississippi, the son of the late Virgil Thomas and Marilyn Anne Abraham Griffin.
Danny was a HVAC technician, most recently working for Amerigas. He was a member of the Graham United Methodist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. Before moving to Tennessee, Danny had also lived in Tupelo, Mississippi and Moon Lake, Mississippi, where he owned and operated his own grocery store and Laundromat in nearby Lula, Mississippi.
He loved boating and water-skiing and enjoyed living life to the fullest. He was a very kind and friendly person, always helpful to his neighbors and community, by which he was well loved and will be sorely missed.
Mr. Griffin departed this life on March 7, 2020 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 66 Years, 10 Months, 15 Days.
He is survived by: a son,Thomas Griffin and girlfriend Erin of Chillicothe, Illinois; a daughter, Christy Irvin and husband John of Clarksdale, Mississippi; two sisters, Roylene Moody of Cleveland, Mississippi, and Carol Griffin Harrison of Clarksdale, Mississippi.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Griffin was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Ann Roaten.
