DANNY BLOUNTwas born in Savannah, Tennessee on January 8, 1936 the son of the late Arthur Morris and Lura Falls Blount.On May 10, 1958 he was united in marriage to the former Rixie Marie Gordon, who preceded her husband in death on July 3, 2004.Mr. Blount was a retired electrician, plumber and farmer. He loved to play dominoes and work on his farm.Mr. Blount departed this life on August 14, 2007 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 71 years, 7 months and 6 days.He is survived by 3 daughters, Sharon Blount and Lisa Casteel, both of Savannah, Tennessee and Sondra Blount of Nashville, Tennessee.one son, Joe Blount of Savannah, Tennessee.4 grandchildren, Chris, Jana, Ethan and Molly Casteel.one great-grandchild, Macyone sister, Geneva Rinks of Savannah, Tennessee.4 brothers, Glen, Douglas, Delmas and Ancil Blount, all of Savannah, Tennessee.Mr. Blount was also preceded in death by one sister, Allie Whitaker and 3 brothers, Carl, Maxell and Morris Blount.
