Dannie Frank Melson

Dannie Frank Melson of Double Springs, AL, formerly of Lutts, TN, was born June 29, 1948 in Lutts, Tennessee, the son of the late Frank and Nona Eaton Melson. Mr. Melson was retired from Brown Shoe Company in Savannah, TN and was a member of the Lutts Methodist Church in Lutts, Tennessee. Mr. Melson departed this life on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at his home at the age of 62 Years, 6 Months, 3 Days. He is survived by two brothers, Ronnie Melson of Double Springs, AL and Lancie Melson of Florence, AL. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Anthony Potts officiating. Burial will follow in the Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors directing. Visitation will be Monday, January 3, 2010 from 5:30 pm to 8 pm and Tuesday, January 4, 2010 from 9 am until service time at the funeral home.
