Daniel A. Nix

Daniel A. Nix was born October 1, 1944 in Chicago, IL. He went to Weber High School in Chicago. He graduated from University of Illinois in Champaign with a bachelors degree in industrial engineering and had completed 10 of 16 hours of an MBA from University of Iowa. He retired from Carstens as a manufacturing manager and moved to Selmer, TN in June of 2011. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack M. and Leocadia (Lillian) Motyl Nix.

Mr. Nix departed this life on June 2, 2023 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 8 Months, 1 Day. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Betty) Nix; daughter, Stephanie Banzer - grandson, Matthew, granddaughter, Caroline; daughter, June Nix-Malavase - grandson, Joey; stepsons, Marty and Frank Keen; brother, Brian Nix; sister, Nancy Jacoby.

He was a member of St. Jude Apostle Catholic Church in Selmer and Selmer Golf and Country Club. He enjoyed golfing and playing cards such as bridge, spades, solitaire and poker.
