DANIEL JOHNSON

was born in McNairy County, Tennessee on October 9, 1937 the son of the late Marion and McGuffey Boyd Johnson.

Mr. Johnson was a sawmill worker and he was also a handyman for several years. Mr. Johnson enjoyed trading and going to the Casino.

He departed this life on February 15, 2016 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 78 years, 4 months and 6 days.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his children, Mary Melson of Savannah, Tennessee, Teresa Gail Julian of Lexington, Tennessee, Martha Johnson of Selmer, Tennessee, Richard Johnson of Pocahontas, Tennessee, Randy Johnson of Savannah, Tennessee and Stevie McBride of Selmer, Tennessee.

five grandchildren, Ronnie DeShazier, April DeShazier, Charles Johnson, Jonathan Johnson and Dillion Joseph Johnson

two great grandchildren, Alli DeShazier and Macy Deshazier

one sister, Dorothy Coats of Selmer, Tennessee

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his first wife, Lula Bell Johnson on November 26, 2007. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Audrey, Christine, Eunice, Avanell and Reuben.
