Dan N. Ward

Dan Nealon Ward Dan Nealon Ward was born in Linden, TN on October 6, 1941 in the son of the late Fred and Dola Hess Richardson Ward. Mr. Ward departed this life on August 25, 2016 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years. He was united in marriage to Judy A. Mathis on December 23,1965.

Mr. Ward was a self employed mechanic and retired from Dan's Radiator Shop and Garage. He was a Past Master in the Masonic Lodge # 127, Free and Accepted Masons in Waynesboro, and a member of the York Rite Bodies in Lexington, TN. His hobbies included working on old cars, tractors, and going to car shows.

He is survived by wife Judy A. Ward, son, Shane Ward both of Waynesboro, TN. a brother, Van Ward (Carole) of Hohenwald, TN, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ward was preceded in death by a brother, William Ward, and a sister, Billie June Harris.

Services will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 1:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Robert Gobbell, officiating. Burial will follow in Phillips Cemetery near Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 27, 6:00-9:00 PM and on Sunday, August 28, 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home.
