Dan Jeterwas born in Florida on July 13, 1944 the son of the late Vernon James and Velma Lucille Lard Jeter.Mr. Jeter had been a Mechanical Engineer for Fed-Ex in Memphis, Tennessee for 27 years. He was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman, and Harley-Davidson rider. He enjoyed golf, woodworking, and NASCAR. Mr. Jeter had been a member of the Fed-Ex Bass Fishing Club, FLW Tours, American Legion in Hardin County, Kentucky and a United States Navy Veteran. He departed this life on Monday, February 27, 2012 at the age of 67 years, 7 months, 14 days.He is survived by his wife, Marsha Jeter of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 sons, Bryan Scott Jeter and wife Mandy of Stuggart, Germany, and Jimmy Weatherly of Germantown, Tennessee; 2 daughters, Danielle Jeter Meals and husband Tim of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and Vicki Gallik of Savannah, Tennessee; 9 grandchildren, Tanner, Trey and Jake Gallik, Jamie, Kalie and Rose Jeter, Brady and Parker Weatherly, Katie Beth and Taylor Meals; a sister, Brenda Jeter Bliss of Omaha, Nebraska and a brother, Joseph Jeter of Huntsville, Alabama.
