DALE RODGERS
Thomas Dale Rodgers passed away peacefully in his home in Henderson, TN on Sunday, January 31st, 2021, after a short battle with cancer. Most importantly, he went home to be with his Savior and was a member of Sanford Hill Baptist Church. Early on he worked for the Memphis Police Department before later entering and retiring from the trucking industry.
He was preceded in death by his mother and step father Jim and Francis Starnes Myers, his father and step mother Joe and Joyce Rodgers, and a sister Carol Horton (Gene), all of Memphis, TN.
Mr. Rodgers is survived by his wife, Wanda Rodgers, daughters, Mendi Rodgers of Henderson, Kim Rodgers of Hagerstown, MD, Angie Rodgers Glosson (Ricky) of Atoka, TN, Shelby Rodgers of North MS, two sons, Clay Rodgers (Katie) of Henderson, Dane Rodgers of North MS, 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, a sister, Peggy Hodum of Jackson, TN, and a brother Raymond “Skip” Rodgers (Terry) of Munford, TN.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 6th at Sanford Hill Baptist Church, 644 Sanford Street. Henderson, TN. Burial will be 10:00 AM Monday at Rodgers Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Sanford Hill Church 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM Saturday service time.
