DAISY PHILLIPS GARNER
was born in Adamsville, Tennessee on December 31, 1910 the daughter of the late Robert Allen and Anice Donaldson Phillips.
On August 14, 1927 she was united in marriage to Jesse L. Garner, who preceded his wife in death on July 27, 1993.
Mrs. Garner was a supervisor for Salant & Salant for 28 years. She was a member of Fairview Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Garner was a 60 year member of the Order of Eastern Star, she was Grand Representative and Grand Committee Member of The Grand Chapter Tennessee.
She departed this life on August 12, 2007 in Lexington, Tennessee at the age of 96 years, 7 months and 12 days.
Mrs. Garner is survived by one son, J. L. Garner and his wife Betty of Richfield Springs, New York.
3 daughters, Elwanda Powers of Lexington, Tennessee, Mary Jones and her husband Bobby of Parsons, Tennessee and Julia McBee and her husband Rex of Lexington, Tennessee.
10 grandchildren, Wanda McDaniel, Viola Davis, Kathy Acker, Jerry R. Powers, Bart G. Jones, Robert Garner, Marilyn Nelson, Brian Jones, Jerry Townsend and Gail Cortese.

Mrs. Garner was also preceded in death by one grandson, Brent Jones, one great-grandson, Josh Townsend, one sister, Evie Forrester, 3 brothers, Ravin Phillips, Raymond Phillips and Roy Phillips and one son-in-law, Clifford Powers.
