D. C. Hester was born January 4, 1911 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee the son of the late Richard (Dick) and Minnie D. Dillion Hester.Mr. Hester was united in marriage to Amy Wilson on July 31, 1931.He was a Livestock Dealer and Farmer for 30 years and a member of the First Baptist Church in Finger, Tennessee.Mr. Hester departed this life on June 23, 2008 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 97 Years, 5 Months, 19 Days.He is survived by his wife Amy Hester of Bethel Springs, TN; a daughter, Dee McIntyre and husband J. R. of Adamsville, TN; a son, Ray Hester and wife Betty of Bethel Springs, TN; a sister, Lena Plunk of Bethel Springs, TN; four grandchildren, Pam Burrow and husband Robert of South Fulton, TN, Paula Chandler and husband James of Adamsville, TN, Ricky Hester of Bethel Springs, TN, Randy Hester of Bethel Springs, TN; six great grandchildren, John Burrow, Alex Burrow, Matt Hester, Jay Chandler, Randa Hester, Abbey Hester; Special Niece, Carolyn White of Bethel Springs, TN and a host of Nieces, Nephews and Friends.In addition to his parents, Mr. Hester was preceded in death by a sister, Gracie Wilson; two brothers, Jim and Johnny Hester.
