Curtis Mitchell "Mike" Bailey

Curtis Mitchell "Mike" Bailey was born June 23, 1953 in Pekin, IL the son of Curtis B. and Hilda Jeanette Gholson Bailey. Mr. Bailey departed this life on September 22, 2016 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 63 Years, 2 Months, 30 Days.

At an early age his family moved to Oakfield, TN where he grew up. He graduated from Northside High School in Jackson. He worked 20 years for the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad then worked as a heavy equipment operator for Deviney Construction retiring in 2010. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and being outdoors.

He is survived by his parents Curtis B. Bailey and wife Hilda of Oakfield, TN; a daughter, Heather (Bailey) Castano and husband Victor of Humboldt, TN; two sons, Brandon Mitchell Bailey of Oakfield, TN, Curtis Blake Bailey of Jackson, TN; two sisters, Pam Hickman of Oakfield, TN, Cathy Bailey of Oakfield, TN; three grandchildren, Hayden Castano, Josiah Castano, Victoria Castano all of Oakfield.
