CORY CHAMBERS
Henderson, TN: Cory Martin Chambers age 30 passed away September 12, 2016 at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, TN.
He was born November 30, 1985 in Corvallis, Oregon and grew up in Oregon and moved to Bethel Springs in 1995. He began his construction business at the age of 17, owning and operating Chambers Roofing. He loved buying and remodeling home’s for rental property, and Home Depot was his toy store. He also did car restoration.
Cory lived an active lifestyle. He ran obstacle courses and Tough Mudder as often as he could, working out regularly. He ran the Rockabilly Riot in Jackson with his brother.
Cory displayed exuberance and positivity, and anything he set his heart and mind to do happened. He was never happier than when he was in the middle of a group of friends, or with a close few. He loved entertaining and could man a mean grill. Cory was one of the most thoughtful people you’d ever meet. He knew how to light up a room and make each person in the room feel special.
Cory was an astute businessman. He loved traveling (if he took the time off work). He had served in Children’s Ministry and Music Ministry.
Cory is survived by his father and mother, Robert Allen ‘Bob’ Chambers and Teresa Ann Anderson Chambers; three brothers, Aaron Chambers of La Paz, Bolivia, Robby Chambers of Bethel Springs and Christian Chambers of Henderson and four sisters, Sarah Yelverton of Jackson, Amy Chambers of Henderson, Leah Chambers of Jackson and Valerie Chambers of Bethel Springs.
