Cornelia Ennis Williams Jordan
was born in Sumpter County, Alabama on December 24, 1920, the daughter of the late Richard Garrett and Florine Irwin Ennis.
On September 27, 1942 she was united in marriage to Dan Williams, who preceded her in death on November 9, 1976. In 1978, she married Robert H. Jordan, who also preceded her in death on August 17, 1989. Mrs. Jordan worked for the Hardin County Board of Education. She retired from teaching after 35 years. Mrs. Jordan was also a member of First United Methodist Church and the Retired Teachers Association.
She departed this life on March 30, 2006 at the Hardin County Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 85 years, 3 months and 6 days.
Mrs. Jordan is survived by her son, Daniel R. (Bob) Williams, Jr. of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 step-sons: Bill Jordan of Washington, D.C. and John Jordan of Santa Cruz, California; 2 grandchildren: Nancy Carroll Mitchell and Laura Ennis Morris;
and 2 great-grandchildren: Robert Michael Morris and Robert Reed Mitchell.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Garrett Ennis, Jr. and a sister.
