Cornelia Mathews

CORNELIA MATHEWSwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on September 17, 1919 the daughter of the late George Charles and Jeannie Mae Clement Tackett.On August 17, 1947 she was united in marriage to Paul Mathews, who preceded his wife in death on November 23, 2005.Ms. Mathews was a assembly line worker for Brown Shoe Company for 30 years. She was a member of Eureka Methodist Church. Ms. Mathews loved housework and loved her grandson and great-grandchildren.She departed this life on August 18, 2008 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 88 years, 11 months and 1 day.Ms. Mathews is survived by one daughter, Linda Harmon and her husband Jerry of Savannah, Tennessee.one grandson, Brent Harmon2 great-grandchildren, Ben and Cade Harmonone brother, George Charles Tackett, Jr. of Olive Branch, MississippiMs. Mathews was also preceded in death by one infant brother.
