Corene P Flatt

Funeral services for Mrs. Corene Flatt will be Saturday at 2 P.M. from the chapel ofLeon Johnson Funeral Home with burial in Chester County Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Flatt died Wednesday night at her home in Henderson . She was born and reared in Green County Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late James and Beulah Morgan Parks. She attended school in Arkansas and Business School in Memphis, Tn. She married Ernest Flatt in 1946. They lived in the Plainview community Until 1968 when they moved to Henderson. Mrs. Flatt was a baby sitter and kept Children in her home for some 16 years. She was a member of the Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a member of the Eastern Star, member of the Gavel Club and past Matron of the Eastern Star. She was also the past Grand Representative of the Eastern Star. Mr. Flatt died in 2001

Mrs. Flatt is survived by 3 daughters: Mrs. Ella Mae Robinson (Bill) of Louisa, Virginia Mrs. Pauline Crum (James) of Huntingdon, TN and Mrs. Pam Isbell (Rex) of Bethel Springs, TN 2 Sons Mr. Charles Flatt(Faye) of Henderson, TN and Mr. Earl Wayne Flatt(Barbara)of Cedar Grove Tn.1 Sister and 1 brother: Mrs. Inez Eakins of Marmaduke, Arkansas and Mr. J.H. Park of Grand Blanch, Michigan. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren and 6 Step Grandchildren. and a host of nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Mrs. Elizabeth Phipps, Mrs. Mildred Moore and Miss Eunice Park, two brothers, Mr. John Park and Mr. Garland Park.
