Cora Lee Sauerwin

Cora Lee Sauerwinwas born in Waterloo, Alabama on June 9, 1936 the daughter of Nettie Pearl Kelly DeShazier and the late Louis Ernest DeShazier.On October 14, 1966 she was united in marriage to Andrew Sylvester Sauerwin, who survives.Mrs. Sauerwin was a homemaker and a member of the New Life United Pentecostal Church in Savannah, Tennessee.Mrs. Sauerwin departed this life on Monday, October 6, 2008 at the age of 72 years, 3 months, 27 days.In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Sauerwin is survived by 2 sons: Marlyon Monroe Rainey of Savannah, Tennessee and Ricky Lynn Rainey of Lyles, Tennessee; 4 daughters: Brenda Kay Sanders and Glenda Fay Daugherty both of Selmer, Tennessee, Wanda Gail Hartle of Savannah, Tennessee, and Loretta Lee Cowgill of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; 3 sisters: Katharion DeLois DeShazier Arnold, Rita Fay McIntyre, and Flora Mae Hopper; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister: Nettie Bell DeShazier White; a brother: Louis Wesley DeShazier; grandparents: Jim DeShazier, Margaret DeShazier, Liz Kelly, and Harvey Kelly.
