Connie Grantham, age 52 of Murfreesboro, formerly of Hornsby, passed from this life Saturday morning, March 26, 2016 at St. Thomas Hospital of Rutherford County in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Connie was born Monday, March 23, 1964 to the late Leo Gordon and Dorothy Mae Jernigan Grantham in Bolivar. Prior to moving to Murfreesboro 15 years ago, she lived all of her life in Hardeman County. She worked for Pillsbury for 15 years as well as for Spectrum, International Paper and Yopps. Among her past interests, she particularly enjoyed playing softball and basketball. She loved her family and was very fond of spending time with her nieces and nephews, taking them to the movies and out to eat. She was a member of Palestine Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sisters, Patricia Evans of Hornsby, and Brenda Luker and husband Mike of Murfreesboro; brothers, Leo Grantham of Hornsby, Randal Grantham of Saulsbury, and Steven Grantham of Murfreesboro; nieces and nephews, Tonya Evans, Randy Grantham, Kenneth Luker, Torrey Ervin, and Tiffany Luker; and great-nieces & nephews, Eli Luker, Rylee Barrett, Savannah Luker, and Landon Ervin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-niece, Jordyn Luker; and several aunts & uncles.
