Coleman Davis

COLEMAN (COLEY) DAVISwas born in Tishomingo County, Mississippi on July 18, 1943 the son of the late Hubert Wesley and Naomi Meeks Davis.On November 19, 1966 he was united in marriage to Violet Janice Swetman, who survives.Mr. Davis worked in the Boat Marina for 22 years at Pickwick Landing State Park. He was a member of Faith Pointe Church. Mr. Davis loved to golf and fish and always had a great vegetable garden.He departed this life on January 8, 2012 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 68 years, 5 months and 21 days.In addition to his wife, Violet of Counce, Tennessee he is survived by one daughter, Violet Jones of Savannah, Tennessee2 sons, James Davis and Tim Davis, both of Counce, Tennessee5 grandchildren, Rachel Gilham, Zachary Hendon, Kara Jones, Trevor Jones and Brittany Moore1 great grandchild, Olivia Moore2 sisters, Doris Wilkins of Counce, Tennessee and Nelda Streetman of Rienzi, MississippiIn addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Summer Davis.
