Funeral services for Colby Michael Bratcher, age 14, Cypress Inn, TN will be Three p.m. Friday, September 8, 2006 at First Baptist Church in Collinwood with Greg Eaton, Frank Ray, and Tom Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge. Pallbearers will be freshmen football players at Collinwood High School.
Colby was born in Florence May 7, 1992 and died Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital from injuries received in a ATV accident. He was a freshman at Collinwood High School where he played on the football team. He also helped his parents operate Crossroads Market and Café and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Mylinda Daniel Bratcher; brother, Hayden James Bratcher all of Cypress Inn; grandparents, Roger and Carol Daniel and Lydia Faye Bratcher all of Collinwood and the late James E. Bratcher; great grandmothers, June Dial and Pearl Holt both of Collinwood; aunts, Beverly, Cindy, and Peggy; uncles, David, Chris, and Greg; first cousins, Nick, Jake, Taylor, Blaze, and Ryley; and many more cousins and friends.
