Clyde E. Knight

Clyde E. Knight was born March 13, 1925 in Hornsby, Tennessee the son of the late Finley Lee and Emma Ann Fore Knight.He was united in marriage to Mary Laverne Knight on May 8, 1948. She preceded him in death on February 17, 1998. He was united in marriage to Linda Gage on June 17, 1999.Mr. Knight was a farmer, member of the Sulphur Springs Methodist Church, member of the American Legion Post 6 in Corinth, MS, served honorably in the United States Army during WW II, loved to BBQ and cook for his family, enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting.Mr. Knight departed this life on June 24, 2007 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 3 Months, 11 Days. He is survived by his wife, Linda Gage Knight of Selmer, Tennessee; two sons, Anthony Michael Knight and wife Era of Rienzi, Mississippi, and David Wayne Knight and wife Hollie of Selmer, Tennessee; four daughters, Mary Diane McDaniel, Terry Lynn Harris, Debbie Gail Ferguson, Vickie Loretta Bodiford and husband Chuck all of Selmer, Tennessee; sister, Nellie Rose Brasher of Jackson, Tennessee; two brothers, Grady Knight of Selmer, Tennessee and Milton G. Knight of Blythewood, South Carolina; 13 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. knight was preceded in death by daughter, Wilma Jean Knight; two brothers, Sherman Knight and Robert Knight.
