Clyde Vincent Crutcher

January 2, 1948 — August 22, 2008

Mr. Crutcher passed away Friday morning, August 22 at St. Francis-Bartlett Hospital.



The husband of Ella Mae Wilson Crutcher, who survives, he was a farmer. He was born to Walter James Crutcher and Thelma Louise Davis Crutcher, both of whom preceded him in death and lived all of his life in Whiteville. He was a member of Parrans Chapel Baptist Church.



In addition to his wife, whom he marreid on May 30, 1972, survivors include two daughters, Tina Simons of Pocahontas and Kimberly Rogers of Somerville; two sisters, Mary Frances Sarton of Mason and Patricia Wilson of Hornsby; three brothers, Charles Crutcher of Mason, Ray Crutcher of Memphis and Wayne Crutcher of Whiteville; and two grandchildren, Christian Lynn Manis and Kendallyn Marie Manis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Solley and brothers, Thomas, Ricky, Walter Jr., Claudie and Bobby.
