Clinton Eugene Cardwell

Clinton Eugene Cardwell was born October 8, 1913 in Ramer, Tennessee the son of the late Edgar and Suzy Sweat Cardwell.
He was united in marriage to Edith Summers Cardwell on January 1, 1937.
Mr. Cardwell was a Retired self employed painter. A member of the Ramer Baptist Church which he was a Deacon for 57 years and a music director for many years. He was also a former member of the Ruritan club.
Mr. Cardwell departed this life on July 6, 2007 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 93 Years, 8 Months, 28 Days.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Cardwell is survived by, three children, Karen Cardwell of Memphis, Tennessee, Gwen Majors and husband Gerald of Adamsville, Tennessee and Sam Cardwell and wife Linda of Selmer, Tennessee; a sister, Lou Teague of Chewalla, Tennessee; 7 grandchildren, Clint Majors, Kara Hill and husband Cory, Regina Bargery, Clinton Cardwell, Mary Ann Morris and husband Mike, Jennifer McCollum and husband Jordan and Delinda Cardwell; 14 great grandchildren, Baylee, Rob andBen Hill, Caylan, Hunter and Ryan Bargery, Kendal Morris, Hailee, Zackary, Nicholas, and John Michael Cardwell, Jillian and Jacob McCollum and Addison Spencer.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cardwell is preceded in death by; three Sons, Royce, Jerry and Rodney Cardwell; Brother, J. V. (Ban)Cardwell; two Sisters, Callie Marrow and Nola Price; two Grandchildren, Mike Cardwell and Robert Gerald Majors II.
