Clifford Eugene Martin

Mr. Clifford Eugene Martin Sr. was born June 19, 1935 in Hardin County to the union of the late Homer W. and Bessie Tucker Martin. He was united in marriage to Lena E Holt on September 26, 1958. Mrs. Martin preceded him in death on August 21, 1986.Mr. Martin worked in phone and fiber optic construction for many years and later retired from Lincoln Brass. He was a member of the Old Union Community Church and served in the United States Army. Mr. Martin departed this life on January 23, 2020 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee making his stay in this life some 84 Years, 7 Months and 5 Days.

He is survived by four sons, Nathan Holt (Patricia), Clifford Martin Jr. (Beverly), John K Martin, Homer Wayne Martin; four daughters, Deborah Martin, Jackie Garrett (Gary), Ingrid Skelton (Randy), Katie Dixon; two brothers, Homer Martin Jr. (Joann), Harold D Martin (Nancy); and a sister, Sue Crowell. Mr. Martin is also survived by 24 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Martin was preceded in death by two brothers, Glen Martin and Lawrence E Martin.

Services will be held on January 27, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Old Union Community Church with Jimmy Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in
Worley Cemetery on Beech Creek Road.
