Clayton R. Johnson, Sr. departed this life on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at the age of 93 years, 5 months, 26 days.He was born in Kansas City, Kansas on June 15, 1919, the son of the late Carl and Marguerite Johnson. On September 1, 1943, he was united in marriage to Helen Lucille Dickson, who survives. Clayton was a sales engineer and the owner/operator of Johnson and Scott Inc. He is a veteran of the US Navy, serving honorably from 1938-1945.He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Helen Lucille Dickson Johnson of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Connie Marie Johnson Dunning of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Clayton R. Johnson, Jr. of Savannah, Tennessee and Darrell L. Johnson of Memphis, Tennessee; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Carl Johnson, Jr. and grandson, Tommy Dunning.
