Claude Cole

CLAUDE COLEwas born in Wayne County, Tennessee on April 12, 1925 the son of the late Fred Berry and Marietta Alley Cole.On October 25, 1946 he was united in marriage to the former Mary Katherine Christian, who survives.Mr. Cole was a self-employed barber for Claude's Barber Shop for 20 years and was also owner of Cole's Frame Shop. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. Mr. Cole was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II.He departed this life on July 13, 2008 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 1 day.Other than his wife, Mary Katherine of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by one son, Steven Edward Cole of Savannah, Tennessee.one sister, Marietta Daniel of Toledo, Ohio and one brother, Billy Cole of Waynesboro, TennesseeMr. Cole was loved by many nieces and nephewsOther than his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Pauline Lay and Nell Wilson and 3 brothers, Eugene, James and Robert Cole.
