Clarice (Pete) Fowler
was born January 28, 1921 in Hardin County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Charles Wright and Blanche Hope Paulk Shaw.
Ms. Fowler was a secretary for PCA for 25 years. She was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Ms.Fowler departed this life on May 10, 2008 at the age of 87 Years, 3 Months, 12 Days.
She is survived by four daughters, Charlotte Cromwell and husband Billy of Savannah, TN, Linda Channell and husband Jimmy of Savannah, TN, Rosemary Blount and husband Paul of Savannah, TN, Julie Polk and husband Bob of Birmingham, TN; two sons, Dr. Tom Fowler and wife Linda of Germantown, TN, Mike Fowler and wife Diane of Savannah, TN; a sister, Doris Richter; 18 grandchildren, Cassie Hare, Molly Polk, Rebecca Polk, Laura Umphrey, Susan Cromwell, Bill Cromwell, Dr. Dan Channell, Joe Channell, David Channell, Greg Blount, Mary Carol Alexander, Dr. Daniel Fowler, Meghan Fowler, Katie Fowler, Louie Fowler, Jonathan Fowler, Jeanne Anne Fowler, Hunter Fowler; 19 great grandchildren, Zachary Umphrey, Eric Umphrey, E'lee Umphrey, Sara Kate Cromwell, Melissa Cromwell, Angie Channell, Sara Channell, J.D. Channell, Jack Channell, Ethan Channell, Haley Channell, Kendall Channell, Ashley Channell, Kailee Channell, Eli Alexander, Paul Alexander, Kerr Alexander, Sophie Alexander, Ramsey Hare.
In addition to her parents, Ms.Fowler was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Wright Shaw Jr., David Shaw, Larry Shaw; two sisters, Sue Covey, Martha Guinn; a grandchild, Paula Jane Blount.
