Clarence James (Jim) Henry departed this life on January 18, 2013 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 8 Months, 28 Days. He was born April 21, 1940 the son of the late Arnold and Rosie Lee Patterson Henry.Mr. Henry owned and operated a sawmill prior to opening a grocery store in Bethel Springs. He was a Butcher, a former Bethel Springs Alderman, and was a McNairy County Constable during the term of Sheriff Buford Pusser. He was baptized at his home by Bro. Paul Henley of Safe Harbor Church.He is survived by a daughter, Angela Hostetler of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, Joe Allen Henry of Whiteville, TN; two sisters, Iva Marie Rudd of Bethel Springs, TN, Catherine Warren of Bethel Springs, TN; a brother, Hershell Henry of Bethel Springs, TN; six grandchildren, Michole Torres, Rosanna Henry, Laurena Henry, Coleen Henry, Jeremy Hostetler, James Hostetler; six great grandchildren; his ex-wife, Dorothy Henry of Henderson, TN; a longtime companion, Amy Hathcock of Memphis. A host of extended family and friends.In addition to his parents, Mr. Henry was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Marie Henry; a son, John Michael Henry; a sister, Maggie Newton; two brothers-in-law, James Warren, Elbert Newton.
