Clara Ernestine Weger

Local services for Clara Ernestine Weger, age 74 of Clifton, TN, will be Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 1 pm at Beech Creek Church of Christ, Clifton, TN with Jerry Garner officiating and Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Final services will be at Gunderson Funeral Home in Madison, Wisconsin on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 1 pm with burial in Roselawn Memorial Park.



Local visitation will be Wednesday, November 14, 2007 from 5 pm to 8 pm and Thursday, November 15, 2007 from 11 am until service time at Beech Creek Church of Christ.



Mrs. Weger died at her home on Sunday, November 11, 2007 after an extended illness. A native of Pinsonfork, KY, she was a retired nurse’s assistant, a member of the Church of Christ, and was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Edna May Hunt; brothers, Ermil M. Hunt and Tommy Hunt; and sister, Naomi Murphy. Mrs. Weger lived in Madison and Phillips, WI before moving to the Clifton, TN area approximately sixteen years before her death. She had worked at Oscar Meyer, Oakwood Nursing Home, and Attic Angels Nursing Home all in Madison, WI.



Survivors, sons, Jeff Simmons and wife, Andrea, of Lodi, WS, Todd Weger and wife, Heather, of Safety Harbor, FL, Timothy Weger and James David Weger, Sr. both of Madison, WI; grandchildren, Kirsten Weger, Forrest Weger, Aaron Simmons, Christopher Weger, Alexander Weger, Renee Garpiel, David Garpiel, Nikki Garpiel, Justin Weger, and James Weger, Jr.; great-grandson, Forrest Weger, Jr.; brothers, Gary Hunt of San Antonio, TX, James Hunt, of Panama City, FL; sisters, Carmen Hunt of Pinsonfork, KY, Reba Henry of Clifton, TN, Ruth Gerber of San Diego, CA; and nieces and nephews.



Everyone loved “Miss Clara”. She will be dearly missed by all of her friends and family.
