Clara Ruth Starnes, age 85, of Clifton, TN died Friday, February 24, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia. She was born in Perry County April 23, 1920 to the late Charlie and Bessie Smith Riley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Arnold Starnes; brothers, Ralph and Claude Riley; and a sister, Pauline Briley. She was a homemaker and a member of Riverside United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son; Wesley Charlie Starnes and his wife Barbara of Baxter, TN; daughters, Judy Ann Bryson and her husband Clarence Eugene and Cathie Gayle Starnes both of Hohenwald, TN
3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren
sisters, Nellie Franks of Savannah and Bonnie Pevahouse of Linden and a brother, Willie (Bill) Riley of St. Louis, MO
