Clara Gertrude Warren Pickett of Clifton, TN departed this life on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro at the age of 97 Years, 6 Months, 8 Days. She was born November 18, 1912 in Wayne County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Willie and Jody Pevahouse Warren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pickett was preceded in death by her husband Ben Pickett, brother; Russell Warren and sister; Cleo Davidson.Mrs. Pickett was a Homemaker . She was a member of the Beech Creek Church of Christ. She is survived by son, Warren Pickett of Clifton, TN; several nieces and nephewsServices will be 11:00 AM Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Shackelford Chapel in Waynesboro with Bobby Pinckley officiating. Interment following in Culp Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of arrangements.
