Clara Irene Tucker Couch

Clara Irene Tucker Couch was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 20, 1916, the daughter of O.K. and Roxie Ann Hubbard Tucker. She was united in marriage to Glen Couch who preceded her in death in 1978. Spending most of her life in Hardin County, she owned and operated Couch Grocery Store. Mrs. Couch was of Methodist belief.
She departed this life on August 13, 2005 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah at the age of 89 years, 2 months and 24 days.
Mrs. Couch is survived by one son, Glen Houston Couch and his wife, Goldie, of Savannah; three grandchildren, Ken Couch, Judy Couch Pitts and James H. Couch, eleven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Myrtle Brown of Savannah.
Other than her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
She departed this life on August 13, 2005 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah at the age of 89 years, 2 months and 24 days.
