CINDY POTTER HAMAN
Luray, TN: Cynthia Ann Potter Haman, age 65, passed away January 8, 2022 at Henderson Health and Rehab Center.
She was born on November 22, 1956 in Maryville TN, the daughter of the late John Thomas Potter and Carolyn Cable Potter. She attended schools in Chester County before moving back to Maryville with her grandparents and graduated from Walland High School in 1976. She married Henry Haman September 19, 1992 and they made their home in Luray Tennessee. Cindy worked at Slant & Slant before getting her CNA license where she then worked at Chester County Nursing Home before settling down as a homemaker.
She was a happy and loving person and she loved everyone she met. She loved to sing happy birthday to anyone as she wanted people to feel special on that day. She was a Christian and loved teaching Sunday School at Middle Fork Road Baptist Church and wanted to contribute to children learning the word of God and enjoyed witnessing to total strangers when given the opportunity. She loved music and enjoyed playing the piano and organ. She loved her niece and her nephews and she impacted their lives in many ways. If you were Cindy’s friend, then you had a friend for life and know that you were blessed.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years Henry Haman; a brother, Blake Potter (Amy) , a sister, Ginger Potter, a niece, Summar Jahnkow, nephews, Brett Potter and Taylor “Cobb” Stovall (Briana) and a special aunt, Erma Sue Burchfield.
Special thanks to the many healthcare workers who helped in Cindy’s care.
