Christine Cox

Christine Johnson Cox of Bethel Springs was born on May 30, 1935, the daughter of the late Marion and McGuffy Boyd Johnson. She was a retired inspector and drafter at ITT Automotive in Selmer. She was a member of the Selmer Moose Lodge.Mrs. Cox passed from this life on Saturday, December 6, 2008, at her residence at the age of 73 years, 6 months, and 6 days.Survivors are two sons, Tommy Cox and Jimmy Allison, a sister, Dorothy Coats, and a brother, Daniel Johnson, all of Selmer. Five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.Other than her parents, Mrs. Cox was also preceded in death by her husband Thomas Cox on January 28, 1993, and a son Jamie Glenn Cox on June 10, 2008. Also preceded by four sisters, Audrey Johnson, Martha Johnson, Eunice Nolds, and Avanell Snodgrass.
