Christine Bridges

Mrs. Christine Gilchrist Bridges was born July 19, 1922 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Grover C. and Virl Lamar Brown Gilchrist. She was first married to Robert Wardlow who preceded her in death. Her second marriage was to Rady T. Brooks who preceded her in death on November 15, 1973. Her third marriage was to Vandell Bridges who also preceded her in death. Mrs. Bridges was a Homemaker and a member of the Mt. Sharon Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Adamsville Chapter 330.Mrs. Bridges departed this life on October 13, 2005 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 2 Months, 24 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Pogue and husband David of Adamsville, Tennessee; a son, Bob Wardlow and wife Joyce of San Jacinto, California; a brother, Orville Gilchrist and wife Carolyn of Adamsville, Tennessee; four grandchildren: Carol Slusser and husband Matt of Hemet, California, Robert Wardlow and wife Renea of Victorville, California, Brooks Harris and wife Amanda of McDonough, Georgia, and Tracy Broocks and husband Jonathan of Columbus, Mississippi; and 9 great-grandchildren.
