Christeen Talley

Christeen Talley was born on November 23, 1932 in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Bid and Charlcie Johnson Kilburn.

On July 26, 1952, she was united in marriage to Max L. Talley, who preceded his wife in death on November 17, 1995.

Christeen worked for Brown Shoe Company on the production line. She loved going anywhere and everywhere with her friends and family and always kept the roads hot. She had many friends and enjoyed spending time visiting them. Christeen's grandchildren and great grandchildren were her whole world and she loved them more than anything.

Christeen Talley departed this life on May 25, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 90 years, 6 months, and 2 days.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Scotty Talley, Amanda Stovall, Brandi Riley, and Jessica Seaton; great grandchildren, Jacob Talley, Eason Stovall, Holt Stovall, Garner Stovall, Hannah Beth Riley, Brodee Riley, Hattie Jo Seaton, and Elzie Seaton; and sisters, Peggy Lowe of South Bend, Indiana and Laverne Morris of Lutts, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents and husband, Christeen was preceded in death by her son, Kenne Talley; sisters, Earline Robbins, Irene Foust, Daurshie Harrison, and Lossie Morris; and brothers, Bud Kilburn and Verlin Kilburn.
