CHESTER CARTER RICH
Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on September 18, 1913 the son of the late Tom Frank and Emma Laticia Stricklin Rich.
On October 25, 1941 he was united in marriage to the former Pearl Young, who survives.
Mr. Rich was a retired farmer. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Rich was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church.
He departed this life on October 30, 2005 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 92 years, 1 month and 12 days.
Other than his wife, Pearl of Savannah, he is survived by one daughter, Bonnie Godwin of Savannah and one son, Raymond Rich of Millington, Tennessee.
8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren
2 brothers, T. F. Rich and James H. Rich, both of Savannah, Tennessee.
Mr. Rich was also preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Rich.
