Chester Arthur Melson

CHESTER MELSONwas born in Wayne County, Tennessee on March 10, 1934 the son of the late Tom and Mattie Louella Mosier Melson.He was united in marriage to the former Kathleen Smith, who preceded him in death. Mr. Melson was later united in marriage to the former Bertha L. V. Harville, who also preceded him in death.Mr. Melson was a farmer. He loved to travel.Mr. Melson departed this life on March 14, 2007 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 73 years and 4 days.He is survived by 2 sisters, Ruby Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee and Mattie Ayers of Lutts, Tennessee.Mr. Melson is also survived by several nieces and nephews.Mr. Melson was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Marie Miller, Lena Morris and Emma Melson and 6 brothers, John, Thoman, Harrison, Roy, Clyde and Clarence Melson.
