Chelsea Elaine Phillips, born on June 13, 1988 in Jackson, Tennessee, left this world on December 24, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and dedication to her community. A graduate of Adamsville High School in 2006, Chelsea pursued her passion for understanding the human mind by earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2010. Her unwavering commitment to helping others was evident in her work as an independent therapist and counselor, where she provided support to children and adults alike.
Chelsea's life was rich with interests that brought her joy and fulfillment. She found great pleasure in scrapbooking, abstract drawing, and cooking. Most cherished were her moments spent with her beloved daughter, Emma, and coloring with her nephews. These hobbies reflected her nurturing spirit and her ability to create lasting memories with those she loved.
Chelsea is survived by her mother, Connie Phillips; her precious daughter, Emma Phillips; her sister, Crystal Wilkerson and her husband, Matt; her maternal grandmother, Patsy Patton and her husband, Eugene; and three nephews: Hayden and Bradley Conner and Bentley Wilkerson, all of Adamsville, TN. She is also survived by many extended family and friends who will miss her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Kerry Phillips; her maternal grandfather, Denvered Jaggers; and her paternal grandparents, Edgar and Katie Sue Phillips. Chelsea’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her, and she will be remembered for her boundless love and the positive impact she made in the lives of others.
