Charyl Swain "Granny"

Charyl Swain was born on March 13, 1944 in Cortez, Colorado, the daughter of the late Nathan Ince and Helen Randall.

Charyl loved spending time outdoors, especially going on trips to the mountains. She enjoyed going hiking, fishing, and rock hunting. Charyl attended Savannah Methodist Church in Savannah, Tennessee.

Charyl Swain departed this life on February 8, 2025 in Gainesville, Florida, at the age of 80 years, 10 months, and 26 days.

She is survived by her daughters, Dana Benson (Greg) of Savannah, Tennessee, Valerie Ranney of Savannah, Tennessee, Misty Swain of Lexington, Tennessee, and Jessica Swain of Dolores, Colorado; sisters, Sandra Bradford, Neeta Mahaffey, Shirley Nunn, and Dolores McNutt; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Charyl was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Conkling and grandson, Joshua Benson.
