Charlie D. Keymon, Jr. departed this life on Thursday, February 11, 2016, at the age of 74 years, 4 months, 1 day. He was born in Carroll County, Tennessee on October 10, 1941, the son of the late Charlie D., Sr. and Ruby Hobbs Keymon. On September 26, 1970, he was united in marriage to Rachel Naomi "Omie" Henson, who survives.
Charlie, better known as Junior, lived in the Walnut Grove community for 33 years and attended the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. His favorite hobby was gardening. He loved to meet people and take care of his animals. He also loved hunting, fishing, and his trips to McDonalds.
Junior is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rachel "Omie" Keymon of Savannah, Tennessee; children, Julie Boswell and husband, Chris of Crump, Tennessee, James Charlie Keymon, and Nathaniel Keymon and wife, Sharon all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Seth Boswell and wife, Nikistea, Noah Boswell and wife, Jacinda, Luke Boswell and wife, Jennifer, Caleb Boswell and wife, Jackee, Karrington Keymon, Chandler Keymon, Makaila Keymon, and Triston Keymon; great grandchildren, Gavin Boswell, Adalyn Boswell, and one due in April, Aubree Dessa Boswell; sisters, Juanita Guess of Finley, Tennessee and Regina Lee of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Jerry Wayne Keymon and Danny Keymon both of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Charlene Keymon and Nancy Hardin; and brother, Gene Keymon.
