Charles Auston Young

Charles Auston Young departed this life on August 26, 2016 at his home in Selmer, TN at the age of 56 Years, 1 Month, 15 Days. He was born July 11, 1960 in Savannah, TN the son of Carolyn Robbins Young and the late Charles Larry Young. He was united in marriage to Renee Basham on December 26, 1983. He was a Computer Technician for The University of Memphis.

Charles Auston was a Mason with Purdy Masonic Lodge #132, a 32nd Degree at Corinth, MS Lodge, and a Scottish Rite. He enjoyed his cabin that he and his son Austin renovated, he loved his dogs Mia and Beth, and riding recumbent bicycles. He loved his family and enjoyed being on the river in his pontoon or bass boat.

He is survived by his wife Renee Young of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Lindsey Brooke Young of Selmer; a son, James Austin Young and wife Adrien of Selmer; his mother, Carolyn Young of Selmer; a grandchild, Brentley Doucette and a host of extended family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the McNairy Central High School Band.
