He was born and reared in the Chickasaw Park area, son of the late Gavin Edward and Delphia Delena Cupples Wyatt. He went to school in Chester County.
He farmed as a young man and married Nettie Verlin Jackson of the Bemis area in 1955.
They made their home in Chicago until 1982 where he worked as a forman for Crouse Cathrege Trucking Co. In 1982 they moved from Chicago to Beech Bluff.
He loved hunting, fishing, and nature.
He is survived by two daughters: Debrah Wyatt, Beech Bluff and Dianna Wyatt, Pinson
He is also survived by four brothers: Billy Wyatt and Jerry Wyatt both of Henderson, Douglas Wyatt, Beech Bluff and Gavin Wyatt Jr., Scotts, Hill
He is also survived by three sisters: Barbara Holloway, Henderson, Linda Strawbridge, Jackson and Kathy Conners, Beech Bluff
