Charles Edward White Sr. of Michie, Tennessee, was born on December 6, 1941, to the late Ivan W. White and Nona Pyron White. He was a retired contractor, a member of the Selmer Moose Lodge, and a Pentecostal.Mr. White died on Sunday, June 8, 2008, in Memphis, at the age of 66 Years, 6 Months, and 2 Days.Survivors are two daughters, Angel Shelton of Parsons, Tennessee, and Whitney D. White of Jackson, Tennessee; a son, Charles Edward White, Jr. of Jackson, Tennessee; five sisters, Oberia Sowell, Omega Sweat, and Virginia Goodwin, all of Michie, Ruth Tucker of Decaturville, Tennessee, and Marie Byrd of Jackson, Tennessee, three brothers, Rayburn White of Decaturville, Tennessee, Rodger White of Pidgeon Forge, Tennessee, and Phillip White of Dallas, Texas.3 GrandchildrenA host of other relatives and friends.
