CHARLES WEAVER
Collierville, TN: Charles Edward Weaver, age 81 passed away Tuesday morning September 13, 2016 at the Somerville Healthcare.
He was born March 9, 1935 in Chester County, Deanburg community, the son of the late Buford Harrison and Jessie Isabell Harris Weaver. He went to Chester County schools. He entered the U.S. Airforce in 1954 and was stationed in New Mexico with the Military Police three years and was discharged in 1958. He married Peggy Jackson of Jackson in 1956. They made their home in Jackson. He worked for Trailways Bus Company in Nashville and Memphis which became Greyhound Lines, Inc. for thirty-seven years. He and his family lived in the Memphis area for fifty years. He loved baseball and football and watched it on TV. Mrs. Weaver died in 2013.
Mr. Weaver is survived by three sons, Mike Weaver and wife Rebecca of Newnan, GA, Kim Weaver and wife Janet of Moscow, TN and Brett Weaver and wife Denise of Collierville, TN; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; and two sisters, Esther Murley and Nancy Snider both of Medon.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, September 16, 2016 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Brian Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, 1:00 PM Friday with full Military Honors.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday.
